They are privileged to rear their salmon surrounded by acres of unspoilt natural beauty. Loch Duart began farming in Sutherland, on the Scottish north west mainland, in 1999, and expanded to the Hebrides in 2006.
Loch Duart’s salmon enjoy a nautral diet and lower than average stocking density throughout the salmon’s lifecycle from hatchery to smolt to sea. This allows their salmon to enjoy space to swim and grow fit and healthy.
The result is clear in its wild-like salmon features: its eye-catching colour, strong torpedo shape and firmer texture, and a taste that’s sought-after by the best chefs in the world.
