Illustrating the increasing value of Scottish salmon farming and aquaculture to the wider economy, Mowi Scotland ranked highest of the three in 43rd place on the Insider.co.uk Scottish Business Insider Top500 Index 2019.
Scottish Sea Farms secured 51st place while The Scottish Salmon Company, recently acquired by Bakkafrost, took 56th place.
Producing the most popular fish with British shoppers and the UK's number one food export, salmon farming is a Scottish success story.
With an annual turnover in excess of £1 billion the sector directly employs more than 2,300 people, with a further 10,000 more Scottish jobs supported in the supply chain.
