Scotland's Salmon Farmers Welcome New Appointment to Lead on Pre-Election Commitments for Regulatory Reform.

Today (6th August 2021) Tavish Scott, Chief Executive of the Scottish Salmon Producers Organisation (SSPO), the trade body which represents all salmon farmers in Scotland, today welcomed the appointment of Professor Russel Griggs to lead the Scottish Government's reform of fish farming regulation. This was a key SNP manifesto commitment from the Scottish Parliament elections.
